Farmer's Market

Support your local artisans and creators at the Wauneta Farmers Market from

9 AM - 12 PM at the Harchelroad's Awning. Find local baked goods, jellies, crafts, handmade products, plants, and more!

Photo Contest Winner Display

See whose photo made our Chamber members smile the most! Swing by the Farmers Market for the Photo Contest Winners Display at 9 AM!

T-Shirt Bar

Visit the T-Shirt Bar by Cattlelac Engraving at Meadowlark Lane from 9-12! Choose your shirt and design, and watch it get made on the spot for a unique, personalized creation.

Regular Swim

Cool off from the summer heat at the Village of Wauneta Swimming Pool from 1 PM - 3 PM.

Pool Games

Galen Todd Cornhole Tournament

Yucca Run

Conquer the hill during the Wauneta Yucca Run. Registration begins at

6:30 AM at the Senior Center, or register early by signing up online. Choose between a 3K and 5K, run begins at 7:00 AM. Want something more low-key? Join the Fun Run at 7:30 AM! Contact Ariel Fanning with questions.

Cars and Coffee

Check out Wauneta's sweetest rides and sip on a hot cup of joe at Cars & Coffee at Harchelroad Ag Awning from 7 AM - 9:30 AM. Contact Bill Bischoff at (308)883-0024 for more information.

Wauneta VFD Smoke Off

Join your WVFD for the 9th Annual Harvest Fest Smoke-Off at the Wauneta City Park! Bring your best Bloody Mary's, Briskets, Ribs, and Pork Butts. Bloody Mary judging begins at 9 AM, Side Dish at 2 PM, Ribs at 3 PM, Pork Butt at 4 PM, and Brisket at 5 PM. Contact Jeremy Walgren or Luke Curl to reserve your spot.

Parade

Celebrate our local community at the Harvest Fest Parade. Find your spot on Main Street for a 10 AM kickoff. Parade float lineup begins at 8:30 at the school parking lot. Contact RanDee Littrel to enter a float.

Dunk Tank

Join us Saturday after the parade for a Dunk Tank event to support the Wauneta-Palisade Junior High Girls! Come and take your best shot at dunking your favorite local personalities, all while contributing to a great cause. Contact Staci Applegarth for more information.

Join the Harvest Fest Poker Walk, sponsored by Harchelroad Motors, at 11 AM.

Face Painting and Balloon Artist

Water Fights

The Water Fights are back for its final year! Hosted by the Wauneta Volunteer Fire Department, this event kicks off with registration at 11 AM and the fights starting at noon. Gather a team of 4 (ages 15+) and dive into the action. To register, contact Tanner Bardsley (308-883-1463) to sign up.

Cody Fanning Horseshoe Tournament

Festival of Cupcakes

All professional, amateur, and talented kid bakers can compete in our first-ever Festival of Cupcakes Bake Off! Bakers must have their cupcakes at the Wauneta Senior Center at 1 PM. Duck Race

Pick your duck, cheer it on, and support your Wauneta-Palisade FFA during the Harvest Fest Duck Race! Race begins at 2PM.

Regular Swim

Kenny Smith Memorial

Ranch Rodeo

Watch your local cowboys and cowgirls at the Wauenta Harvest Fest Ranch Rodeo at the Smith Arena. Events include Doctor/Branding, Trailor Loading, Mugging, and Barrel Racing.
